This listing is for a vintage Fortune Telling/Tea Leaf Reading Teacup with its original leaflet. This set is known as The Romany Fortune Telling Cup and it was produced by Wilkinson's China in about 1935.

The cup depicts a Romany lady on one side and a big red heart with "The Romany Fortune Telling Tea Cup" printed on the other. The saucer depicts the same Romany lady as on the cup.

The set is in a good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Please note that these cup and saucer sets were given away with magazines of the period and the production quality was not of the best. There is evidence of the manufacturing process to the base of both the cup and saucer and a small splash of slip (or similar) under the glaze of the saucer - please see all pictures in zoom for condition. The leaflet is showing age related wear/discolouration.

The cup and saucer have Registry Number 799240 in green.
